The hotel in Vence was charming, small, and of top quality. the property's location was convenient and magnificent, being close to galleries and the historic center. - It was a nice surprise to find Bar Café Matisse just 1 km away.

It was surely a delightful stay in the old town of Vence. Everything was great, the staff were good and the location was marvellous. In overall the room was reasonably spacious and with a terrace as well as cute private patio...

The kindness of the hotel's people. The location. The Provence style of the premises. The cleanliness of rooms.
Some restaurant's tables in the outside patio are uncomfortably too close to the pool.

The hotel was fantastic, it shouldn't be rated 2 Star. It was in my mind a 4 star hotel. The staff was caring and very helpful and the service in the restaurant was excellent. They spoke English which was very helpful. The room was very comfortable and the bed was a king size with a nice balcony and dark shutters for night time.
The only negative note was the shower head was of old design and very low in the tub.

A very nice hotel with very friendly and serviceminded staff. Nice swimming pool. Walking distance to the old town is only 300 meters. Good parking facilities.
The garden needs some flowers and benches.

The hotel's location was convenient and easy to find, with a short distance from Nice airport. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, even with our late arrival. The town of Vence exceeded our expectations, with its charming streets and numerous restaurants. The room we stayed in was spacious and well-equipped, and the hotel had unique and interesting architectural features. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was friendly and relaxed.
Nothing to be said.

The staff is extremely kind since you step in until the end. The breakfast is nice and there is a pretty garden where you can relax and have a rest. I did yoga every morning on the grass! The position is good, near to the city center (just 200 mt with a shortcut) and quite near to St. Paul and the beach. I ll definitely come back.
This is not a negative point but just a consideration: the guests of the hotel are above all elderly. But since I was looking for some quiet time to spend on my own I really didn't mind.

Good parking. The steep path up to the old town, although making me breathless, was a very short walk to the old town. There was a good selection of food on the menu although the 3-course meal was 30 euros which was rather a lot, but you were able to have just one course. A glass of house wine was very cheap at 3 euros. The room was OK although beds had no headboards but there was a separate toilet, although tiny. The room was air conditioned with electric shutters and a small balcony. As the weather was hot we were pleased to be able to have dinner out on the terrace overlooking the pool which was very much smaller than it looked on the pictures.
The balcony had not been cleaned since someone smoked out there, but we were only there for one night so did not sit outside. When we asked for a jug of water at dinner, it was delivered without ice in it or indeed chilled at all, but we noticed that some other diners were given a jug of obviously chilled water. The hotel was just as I imagined it would be - rather modern and a bit characterless but it had a lot going for it and suited us fine.

We had breakfast & dinner most days & entertained some French friends from Antibes to dinner. Delicious but not too cheap cuisine, & very friendly & attentive staff. Pool nice but unheated. Frequent buses to St Paul & Nice for one euro.
If you are elderly like me (78) the location presents a bit of a problem as although near town centre, the hotel is on a hill & the path to the old town is as steep as Everest. Just as well I had my patient daughter with me to lean on
